A picture isnt just a picture, its something that captures the impossible the ungraspable the fabric of space; time. I personally believe that photos show different characteristics of people and expell what they believe in. For instance through my photos I was able to expose many of my beliefs using these photos. There are many view points that can be expressed through these photos such as religion politics childhood life and so on.
One of my inlcuded the use of the head of medusa as the focal point but the thing that was meant to be represented by that was the whole context that we are focused on one main issue. This is all wrong since we have many issues at hand and should be focused on more things than just that one thing.
Creating single images that could literally get a whole lifes worth of lessons through into someone is astounding almost impossible that someone could interpret so much with so little. The freedom that is allowed with photography lets me express myself in every form with no limitations other than that of the mind which lets face it are none(now i am contradicting myslef). my early inspirations i remember would have to be when i was i miami and i can clearly remember walking with my mom along the beach with the breeze hitting me flowing through my hair like rivers flow through the earth. Smelling the saltiness of the beach on one side and the vast life of humanity on the other getting hints of grilled burgers and other types of vendors. I looked into the place where the ocean connects with the sky and saw a line a clear line which i wasnt comprehending at the tender age of 7. I knew that this was something truly beautiful, pulling upon my moms shirt as the nagging child i was and still have some traits she looked at me with warm felt eyes. i point to that line and she says you like that let me save it for you and with that she took a picture with those diposable kodak cameras the ones you buy at generic stores. I couldnt believe that just like that she was able to capture something so incredible.
